Join us on Sunday, April 27 as we start a new five-week worship series called Finding God in the Movies. We are excited about this series because it reflects a greater spiritual exercise. We believe that God is always speaking, and if we’re listening, we can learn, grow, and deepen our faith, even as we watch movies. Throughout our series, we will explore spiritual truths in contemporary films released within the last year. So, here are the movies: Wicked (April 27), Conclave (May 4), The Wild Robot (May 11), The Best Christmas Pageant Ever (May 18), and A Real Pain (May 25).
This is going to be a lot of fun, and it might be even more enjoyable if you watch the movies ahead of time.* In fact, you may even want to get together with a friend or two to have a movie watch party. We will be hosting one Watch Party for The Wild Robot on Saturday, May 10 at 2pm with popcorn provided, so come out and join us.
